About techFEST'26 What is techFEST'26 and when is it happening?

techFEST'26 is the annual national-level technical festival of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET Longowal), deemed university under the Ministry of Education (Govt. of India), NAAC 'A' accredited. The festival takes place on 16 • 17 October 2026 across SLIET's lush green 451-acre campus in Longowal, Punjab.

Teams & Spot Entry Can team members be from different colleges, and is spot registration available?

Yes! Cross-college and cross-departmental teams are warmly welcomed across all competitions (including Robozar robotics, Plexus hackathons, Kermis esports, and model exhibitions). You can collaborate with students from any recognized institution across India. While online registration on Unstop is strongly recommended to guarantee competition slots and hostel allocation, spot registration desks will also be active at the campus for last-minute entries on 16 & 17 October 2026.

Competitions & Prizes Can I enter multiple events and what are the prizes?

Yes, you can register for multiple competitions across any of our 13 technical domains (Robozar robotics, Plexus coding & AI, Karyarachna, Kermis esports, etc.) as long as round schedules do not clash. Winners receive cash prizes, trophies, and excellence certificates; every attendee receives a verified Certificate of Participation.

Campus Stay & Travel What accommodation, meals, and travel options are provided?

Hostel rooms with 24/7 security are allocated for Tier 1 pass holders on campus. Subsidized vegetarian mess meals (~₹50/diet) are available in student hostels. The nearest railway stations are Sangrur (SAG, ~18 km) and Dhuri (DUI, ~32 km), with direct buses connecting from Chandigarh, Patiala, Ludhiana, and Delhi ISBT.
